Easy mode

In the easy mode, one person will give simple one-word clues about an animal and the child will have to guess the animal. For instance, ‘Has a trunk’ can be a clue for an elephant.

Hard mode

In the hard mode, the clue-giver will act out the behaviours or characteristics of the animal without speaking. Alternatively, they can provide three or more facts about the animal for the child to guess the animal.

Challenge mode

In the challenge mode, the child will be the clue-giver. They will have to think of an animal, come up with their own clues or actions, and get others to guess the animal.

  • You’re doing amazing! Can you guess this one?
  • Wow, you guessed it right! Ready for the next one?
  • Can you roar like a lion or jump like a kangaroo? Show me!
  • I bet you can’t guess this animal! Let’s see
  • You’re doing great, keep going!

  • Make sure to provide a wide variety of animals to guess from
  • This activity can be used as an opportunity to teach children about different animals and their characteristics.
